The Wind, Gremlins and My Manly Man....

We have had a few strange out of the ordinary events taking place lately. I recently had to delete a post due to my pictures not showing up on the completed post, but they showed up on my preview.
I had to abandon the post out of sheer frustration, sorry!

It was a post that shared that part of our barn roof had been ripped off by the wind. Number One had to patch the roof temporarily, until the winds die down to do a permanent repair. We are expecting up to 85 mile an hour winds today.
Thank God for my manly man.......

A few days later, one side of our gate was partially torn off it's hinges by the wind. I was unable to do the repair by myself and had to remove the gate to prevent further damage. Number One repaired the gate yesterday when there was a lull in the wind. Thank God for my manly man.....

Yesterday, I was doing laundry and my washer quit after the first load. This has been an intermittent problem, however, we thought it was a solar power issue, not a washer problem. My washer never came back on, so Number One took it a part and discovered the the door lock switch was no longer working. After a few hours, he was able to locate and communicate with a knowledgeable repair man, bypass the switch without purchasing the $81.00 part and put my house back together again.
Thank God for my manly man.......

I try to learn and do as much as I can at the ranch to get the things done that need to get done, but I do not always have the strength, know how or the God given abilities that my manly man was blessed with. I was blessed with other talents and abilities, so we compliment each other in our weaknesses and bless each other in our strengths just as God intended......

Utah Pix

We took a trip to Utah for our 25th Anniversary/business trip. I took these awesome pictures on our way home.

Number One cleaned all the windows, so I could take pictures
from inside the car. He's so considerate.
Here we go....

Utah can grow some rocks....

However, trees are a different story...
This is a harsh beautiful environment...

This Raven is fat and happy in his little tree...

Most of the exits were for ranches. No services.
I believe that it was probably just one or two ranches, since it
would take so many acres to raise cows on this barren land.

Abby is keeping watch on the cheese balls...

Hiho's baby is getting too close to the cheese balls...

Pull over if you get sleepy...

Lots of coal...

Coal plant in the middle of nowhere...

Say your prayers....

We use diesel...

Snack time...

Are we there yet?
Are we there yet?
Are we there yet?

We didn't see any of these, but....

We saw plenty of these....

Yummy!
Yummy, Yummy!!!!!
I found a giant tea for the bargain price of $1.49 in Utah, where caffeine is not popular, anywhere, but truck stops, maybe. I might have a problem. Everyone thought I was crazy for asking for tea.....
It was dark long before we got home, so no glory land photo. Everyone we met in Utah was kind and we received exceptional service everywhere we went. Our favorite place to eat was In-N-Out Burger. I would recommend a family vacation in Utah. There is lots to do and see.....
