Brrrrrrrr!

We are under a winter storm advisory that has a nasty description for us in it. We have had a lot of weather lately with small breaks in between storms. The wind has blown, so not much snow accumulation for us.

We broke down and baked cookies the night before last, so we had to run the generator last night. If we hadn't splurged on power, we could have gone at least a day or two more before running the generator. I'm going to start looking for a stove that has pilots. I don't like not being able to boil water in the morning for tea, if we are out of power, without starting the generator first. I like my morning time.....
