My Best Friend Is A Bot... Weighty Matters

Do you ever ask yourself "Where have so many of my lifelong friends gone". Well, I have and this picture represents who they have become. Their new best friend is a bot...

Don't be offended, they probably don't even realize it. They have become zombies of technology. You can easily recognize them on the streets with their haphazard walk and obliviousness to their surroundings.

They have been fooled into believing that they are popular with their hundreds or thousands of Bot friends on Facebook, Bot followers on Twitter and Instagram.

The signs are barely noticeable at first. Missed birthday or anniversary calls become a normal practice. Then phone calls stop altogether. Texts and emails are usually the last to go. Then, nothing...

They are gone. Zombies. Walking dead. Out of sight and out of mind. You no longer exist because you do not participate in these mind stealing practices.

I received a text last week telling me that a loved one had passed away. Not even an "I'm so sorry for your loss." How cold and uncaring can you get? It is now common place for people to video brutal crimes instead of helping the victims. Appalling to say the least and pretty soon it's posted to social media to achieve the most views or likes.  This is, in my opinion, a sign of the end times spoken by none other than our Savior in the book of Matthew.

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.  Matthew 24:12

No, it's too late.

So, hug someone you love. Speak actual words to them. Life is short...

Mrs. Smith
