We went on a short trip, 146 miles one way to be exact, to pick up another canoe. Number One Husband found a larger canoe to replace the one we bought earlier in the year. It was too short to use on the lakes up here. Now we can use it here and we can run the rapids in Arkansas.

I'm sure we were quite the sight driving with a canoe on top of the car in the snow. |

Wishful thinking! |

The canoe came with two paddles, a canoe cart and an extra snap in seat. |
The trip itself was beautiful, but dangerous. We had several close calls with drivers who no longer care about others. We also stopped to get fuel and while we were there two fights broke out. One verbal and the other verbal and physical. People have lost their minds and love for others. We are so grateful to our Heavenly Father for getting us back to our home high in the mountains.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
