State Of The World...

 

I am so saddened by the state of the world right now. I am shocked by the sheer brutality of humankind. I wanted to say something sooner, but the words have escaped me. The magnitude of violence is beyond my comprehension. I fear that this is just the beginning of suffering on a global scale.

Super Inflation - "Something's Gotta Give"...

 

The dog food alone was up $15 to $43.78.

We went to the city yesterday to buy the groceries that we can't get shipped. This is crazy! We spent a lot of money and we did not get very much. Unfortunately, the quality on some of the fresh items was sub-par to say the least. 

There were many missing items that I had to substitute with other brands or that I just couldn't find and some items that I didn't purchase that we could just do without due to the sheer expense of the total grocery bill. 

The really bad thing is that we still have to purchase our dry goods and have them shipped. I'm not sure what the cost will be, since I was focused on fresh and frozen foods. As you can see, the dog food was a large chunk of our bill. The most expensive item.

My understanding is that prices are going to increase even more this month and into 2023 as they start processing the new crops. Crop failures, crop shortages and costs related to farming and ranching are going to affect the prices as we go forward. With the increases in energy and most everything else...

These are not good quality carrots. Many are so skinny that I won't be able to peel about half of each carrot. This also means that they will go bad faster too. Compared to the 3 pounds for a $1 that I used to by them for when they were in season, this is a sad state of affairs... Wired Magazine "RIOT"

"The new revolutionaries are networked, mobile and coming to a city near you".

I do not pretend to understand how Twitter, Facebook and whatever other social media outlets work. What I do know is that a lot of my friends do and their children are definitely capable of using these outlets too.

Flash mobs are used to steal, plunder and disrupt businesses daily. If you want something at a store, why buy it? Just get your a lot of your friends to show up at a store and go in and take it. The mobs cause mass confusion and fear, so they take what they want and leave a path of destruction in their wake.

Do you think that their parents taught them to steal? Our own president is teaching our nation that we need to take from the rich to give to the poor. No one needs to work hard anymore, because we are all going to be equal under the new wealth distribution plan. The new plan is called "Socialism". I call it stealing if you didn't work for it or it wasn't given to you, honestly.

Our president doesn't mention how much the rich already give to the needy. He does not practice what he preaches. He only gave a meager 1% of his millions to charity, however, that was his choice. Imagine if someone decided for you what you "will" give.

I think that those who want everybody else to pay more taxes and redistribute wealth should start with their own wealth. They can pay as much as they want to the government. There is even a place on their tax forms to donate. They do not consider that they will also need to give up their wealth to form this "socialist utopia". Someone will need to be in charge, so they will need to keep their wealth.

Stand up and be heard by your vote. Spread the word by your voice. Protect the constitution, your liberty is at stake!
