Big Box Delivered Today!

We received a nice surprise today! I should have taken a picture of the big box that was delivered, but I didn't. Sorry!

The first gift in the box was a bedding set.

Beautiful midnight blue microfiber duvet cover and sheet set.

The last gift in the box was a Chef's Design 4.75-quart dual function pressure cooker.

I'm about to sit down with the manual to learn how to use this pressure cooker.

It can be used as a pot or a pressure cooker. Hence, the dual function. It came with a glass lid. I like this feature a lot.

It is the perfect size for us.

Made of 18/10 Stainless steel for healthy cooking by All American.
They make the best pressure canners on the market in my opinion.

My mom finds the best deals on Deal Dash. I don't know how it works, but she has bid and won several items for next to nothing with free shipping.

Thanks mom, for thinking of us so often and for the gifts. You are the true treasure...

Love you,
T

The Gift of Love...

My mom sent us a gift box for our anniversary. We picked it up today. Inside was a treasure trove of very thoughtful gifts. One of my favorite things was this tea mug with a Scripture verse on it. The story behind this cup was when she first found it and thought of me, the checker at the store dropped it and shattered the mug. It was the only one. Months and months passed by when she was back at the same store, she took a shortcut down some random isle that she normally would not go down and saw the same mug out of place. When she checked out, she would not let the checker handle the mug at all. Not even to scan it. She carefully wrapped the mug in a paper bag and held onto it until she could put it in a secure place in her home.

And walk in love, just as Messiah also loved us[a] and gave Himself up for us as an offering and sacrifice to God for a fragrant aroma.

Ephesians 5:2

Number One Husband also received several gifts including his favorite toothpaste that we can longer find here. Toothpaste, you say. Think about how thoughtful this gift is. First, she tuned into the fact that it was his favorite toothpaste, but longer available. She kept an eye out for it for a year or more and then when she found it, she bought out the store and shipped it to him. Very thoughtful!

There were other thoughtful gifts packed into this box, but the greatest gift was the love she put into each and every item...

We love you too, Momma.!

My Mom Is The Coolest!

We both have birthdays around the same time, so my mom sent a giant box of gifts. I took pictures of just a few of them. Thanks, Momma!

A journal for Number One

A Hungarian cookbook that belonged to my dad.

An awesome planner for me...

Have you ever tried taking a picture of the shoes that you are wearing? It is not an easy task.

These Muk Luks are wonderful and super comfortable. Just what I needed. I did pretty good taking this picture.
There were at least a dozen gifts in the box including a cutting from her favorite Spider plant. All the gifts were well thought out and much appreciated. From wool socks to cashews, (Number One's favorite) you are really thoughtful. Thanks again mom...

Gifts From My Mom!!!

My Mom sent me a couple of gifts. Number One picked them up at the Post Office today. The first gift was a 9-pack of Okllen fermentation and pickling weights. And the second was a 600-count set of transparent lined sticky notes to use in my studies.

I am very excited about both of these gifts. I immediately started making sauerkraut. I took pictures of the process, so I will be doing a blog post on fermenting sauerkraut soon. I want to pickle a few items too. I haven't tried out the sticky notes yet. I think that they will definitely add to my note taking abilities, since I do not write in my books.

I just wanted to say "Thank you, Mom!!! I love you too!!!
