New Beginnings...

Lamentations 3:22-23

22 It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

We do not have to wait for a new year for new beginnings. The Lord's mercies are new every morning...

We received a few inches of snow over night and this morning.  These are my tracks to the solar panels. Once the sun came out I swept the snow off of them.

We had to run the generator last night, so we decided to use the rotisserie to cook a chicken.

This is Number One's domain. He basted it with BBQ sauce.

I made black-eyed peas with jalapeños and cheese.

Coleslaw

Sweet potatoes

I made the sweet potatoes with maple syrup, butter, cinnamon and nutmeg. The allspice was in the way of the cinnamon in the cabinet. I'm not sure how it got in the picture.

The coleslaw was delicious.

This was our New Years Eve meal and we had leftovers for New Years day.

Numbers 6:24-26
24 “The Lord bless you and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
26 The Lord [a]lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.
