My Review:
When you live off grid sometimes you need to have non-electric alternatives. This little machine works well for this purpose. Even for on grid living this would save you a lot of power and money. As energy costs continue to rise most of us are looking for ways to save on our energy bills.
It's easy to use and only requires a small amount of physical labor. It's also great exercise for your arms.
It fits on my counter next to the sink. This is convenient for draining. This is a good workspace and height to work from. It also fits in the bathtub and it can be used outside. I have used it in all three places.
If I were using this as my main washing machine I would definitely wash laundry every time that I had a load. It actually holds a decent amount of clothing. I have washed a king size sheet in it without any issues. The clothes are clean when they come out.
The only thing that I don't like about it is that it does not spin the clothes. I just use the spin cycle on my electric machine or I have Number One squeeze out the excess water for me. I would like to find a hand crank wringer one day to complete my off grid laundry capabilities...
