Natural Dry Shampoo And Hair Volumizer... One Ingredient!

Yep, that is a chicken on my shoulder.

Freshly cut hair.

My hair is down to my waist now.

I have a lot of very fine hair. It is long too. Down to my waist now. I usually keep it clipped up, because the wind blows so much here that it just blows everywhere.

We live in a very dry climate, so I don't wash it everyday like I used to. This helps me keep my hair in good condition. My natural oils condition my hair better than chemicals do. I just brush my hair from the top down. This spreads my natural oils throughout my hair.

I have tried cornstarch, baking soda and powder to freshen up my hair in between washings. I did not get the results that I wanted. I don't care for dry shampoos. They are expensive and not very healthy in my opinion.

I discovered that 100% Calcium Bentonite clay works as a natural dry shampoo and gives my hair lots of volume at the same time. It is also a great face mask and is also used in many other types of applications.

For dry shampoo, I place a pinch in my hand and rub my hands together and rub it into my scalp and into the crown of my head . It doesn't take much. For a volumizer, I use it throughout my hair. I have always loved long beautiful hair and this gives me the ability to style my hair in ways that just won't work with fine hair.

I used it this morning for the first time and wow. I have big hair. It gave me just the right amount of volume to make my roots stand up instead of being flat on my head like in the pictures above. I look forward to playing around with different styles.

Most women that you see with perfect volumized hair are using hair extensions and have their own hair stylist on call.

I will take some pictures and do an update when I have a little more experience using this product, but so far I have high hopes...
