Our closest gas station was out of diesel as of yesterday. The next closest gas station in the opposite direction closed down until Spring for remodeling. I doubt that they re-open until it sells...
So, the next station is around 30+ miles away. This is tough for people in our area that need diesel. We have experienced some fuel shortages over the last two years, but never diesel. I'm not sure how widespread this is in our area. I hope that we can keep getting gasoline. It takes diesel to deliver fuel and supplies.
Our neighbors are ranchers and most of their vehicles and equipment use diesel. At least it's wintertime and they are not cutting hay right now. Hopefully, they have tanks on their property full of diesel for the equipment that they use for their everyday operations. Can you imagine trying to feed cattle out of a minivan?
