I purchased two journals. I'm sending one to my mom for her birthday. Suprise! I am including it in her birthday box. The journal was already discounted 30% off the regular price and they offered an additional 15% off when I used the discount code SUMMER23. You can find the journal here: Journal Through The Bible
Each book of the Bible has its own reading plan and a section for each of the following: Themes, Major players, Background, Summary and Reflections. You can start this journal at any time and go at your own pace. The book is not dated, so there is no pressure to complete a section. The reading plan is just a guideline to read the entire Bible and complete the journal in one year.

The book is a hardback and can be used over and over year after year. I was very impressed with its sturdiness, structure and contents. It can be used with any Bible version that you prefer. I use a KJV, CJB and The Scriptures. I read from all three versions taking notes as I go.
At the beginning of each Bible book, I read the theme, background, summary and Reflections. The reflections prompt me to take notes or make lists on certain aspects and themes throughout the entire book. When the reading plan is completed, I answer the Reflection questions and compile my notes. The insights that I have gained from using this journal alongside the Bible has helped me to see the Bible in ways that I not have ever seen before.
By reading the first three chapters of Genesis, I realized that it was a book of "Firsts". The first day, the first blessing, the first command and the first covenant are just a few of the discoveries that I have made. There are many more discoveries to come as I continue reading through Genesis and as I finish reading through the entire Bible. I am gaining a new perspective with every chapter and book that I read.
Blessings,
Mrs. Smith
