The Very Short and Endless Tale of The Coyote and The Rabbit...

We have a hungry coyote hunting for a very clever rabbit... 




I barely spotted her. She has a nest of kits nearby. She stays close, but not too close to protect the kits. She throws off the coyote by leaving her tracks and scent everywhere. My yard (80 acres) looks like a rabbit freeway with a few coyote tracks in the midst. We should see baby rabbits soon. Then she will be gone. 


So far, the rabbit is winning...
