Secondhand Treasures - Instant Pot Ultra

I have officially retired my Wolfgang Puck Bistro 6-quart Pressure cooker. It has served me well for at least 25 years or more, but unfortunately it has a non-stick cooking pot that has seen better days.

Number One Husband found a like new 6-quart Instant Pot Ultra for less than $20 at a thrift store. Used ones go for about $100. I don't think that it has ever been used. It has all the manuals tags and accessories.

I like the Instant Pot much better because it has a stainless-steel cook pot that will last a lifetime. I found a Mini-Luxe Instant Pot a few years ago, but it was only a 3-quart. I only paid like $7 for it and it was also like new, but it was just not big enough for some things.

After washing and testing the Instant Pot, I cooked cumin chicken with green chilies. I turned out wonderful. I shredded the chicken and will make tacos and burritos out of it. I look forward to cooking more meals with the Instant Pot. It is a great wat to save energy off grid.

Blessings,

Mrs. Smith
