Shirley Temple 7up - Limited Edition

When I was a child, I used to go to the country club after school and sit at the vacant bar and drink a Shirley Temple while the adults sat at a table and chatted. What about, I have no idea. I was too focused on the wonderful treat in front of me. It was clear and full of bubbles with a bright cherry sitting on top of the ice. The bottom of the glass had the cherry syrup as bright as the cherry itself.

With my straw in hand, I would stir the bubbles into the cherry syrup and soon the bubbles turned a lovely bright pink. It is, in my opinion, the perfect carbonated drink. My second choice, of course is none other than the Cherry limeade from Sonic. There is a theme here. I really like 7up. It's not too sweet and full of carbonation.

I was at Sam's recently and happened to see this on the endcap. I rarely go down the soda isle. I rarely drink soda. I do keep some on hand for medicinal purposes. Usually root beer or ginger ale. I usually cannot find 7up. The last time I bought soda was 6 months ago and only four cans have been used. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to try this new limited edition and enjoy memories from my childhood.

It was also a great price compared to other soda. It was $11.98 for a 24 pack. My root beer costs a whopping $17.28 for the same amount. We live in a crazy time of inflation. I only found two items on sale that I wanted/needed. The rest was retail all the way. I bought 12 items for $137 and there was no steak in my cart.

I picked up a pair of Isotoner slippers for $9.98,
which was also a good price.

Sam's did add Walmart+ into their membership. We can't get delivery out here, but we are enjoying their streaming services and will utilize their free shipping and other benefits. Well, I'm going to enjoy the rest of my Shirley Temple and get the rest of my day started.
