Kofta - Trying a New Lentil Recipe

I decided to try making Kofta for the first time. I was excited to try out this recipe and since we were in between meals, we only had the Kofta patties as a snack. They were delicious. I placed the uncooked mixture in the refrigerator. It's amazing how much Kofta one cup of lentils makes. These patties will make a great filling for sandwiches or stuffed pitas.

Lentils are nutritious and are well known for their health benefits. They are full of antioxidants, fiber and are an anti-inflammatory food. They are a fast-cooking legume compared to other types of beans which saves on energy costs.

Lentils are known for their lens-shape. They are edible seeds

Traditional Kofta has a Middle Eastern flare, but any spice blend can be used for
different flavored patties.
